Today, Marty, John, and I went back to yesterday's job
site in New Jersey to continue working on the fox and give the fisherman a
second coat of paint.
After getting there we noticed that the coat of paint we
had put on yesterday hadn't dried at all, so we only touched up a few spots
that had been missed. For some reason these huge bubbles of paint kept forming
on the underside of his jacket, so every half an hour or so I had to go down
there and pop them and paint over that area.
Later in the day, I sanded and chainsawed some of the bark
and junk off of the base of the tree that has the fox on it, so that there won't
be anything left on the actual solid wood that would hold water and cause it to
rot.
Marty plans on going back out there tomorrow and actually
finishing the fox completely...
