2014 Leni Hoch Silk Scarves and Fine Fabric Art, Day Two- Meghan

Day Two:

Today was another fun day. I got to help dye some of the scarves and learned how to fold them so that they have a perfect crease and that they lay perfectly on the customer. The next thing I did was learn how to hand hem the edge of a sweater which was really hard for me. I, either, made my stitches too tight or too loose, too big or too small, so after I finished one sweater I moved on. After that, I ironed a little and then packaged up an order. They also taught me something really cool about how they package there orders up--they put them in color-order to be pleasing to the eye.
