2013 Yellow Springs Farm Day Four -Helena

On Thursday we took care of the daily chores, as well as taking out several bales of straw that were filling up a pen to make room for three more does who were due soon. We also set up a fence out in the courtyard so that Patience and her buck kid and Ramakin and her two bucks could spend the afternoon outside.

I’ve mentioned before that working with the kids was one of my favorite parts. I could have mentioned it a lot more if it wouldn’t have been redundant. I think if you don’t find baby goats adorable there is something seriously wrong with you.
