I’m Ariel Gallegos and I’m interning at Saint Peter’s Bakery. Saint Peter’s Bakery is not only a bakery but it also also serves drinks, and lunches. The bakery is located in Saint Peter's, Pennsylvania, right off of Route 23.
One of the display cases at the bakery.
There are a few people involved in the baking: the bread chef, the cake chef, and the pastry chef. There is also the owner of the establishment, Melanie, who helps and makes the lunches. There are two cashiers who serve and take orders and there is even a boy who washes the dishes. The four bakers (which are all women) help with the baking but they each have their specialties.
There are so many different things to do from making pizzas to baking apple pies. The first day I started out by helping make the pizzas, which were left over from the pizza class the night before. When we were done making them I helped decorate Easter cookies, cut unbaked scones, made Honeybutter Blueberry muffins, made three Apple Pies, and helped in the front serving coffee.
