First day of metal working and there is so much to discuss! My first day consisted of a lot of safety rules and the creation of a candle which was made from steel found in scrapyards around Pennsylvania. Coordinating this with my recent move has become difficult considering I don't and will not have cable/ Internet until Friday of next week. Today, I was taught how to weld using stick, tig, and jig. The names are a little confusing but my supervisor, is a real nice guy who has great skills in metalworking and blacksmithing. He rocks the power beard just like Mr. Dill pretty hard!
